Coconut- I just want to echo what the others have said...try your best to steer yourself away from the mean thoughts towards yourself. That's what I'm trying to do, but not very successful today. Feeling the shame of what I've done is not fun. However, it does help tremendously to know I'm not alone...

Not common to me, either. My Th had never heard the word Limerence. how crazy! however, he seems to understand it and is helping me. I will say that the forum is really the only place where others "get" the significance of progress with this condition, or understand it in any way.

Yes it is, Peter. I can look back and see the love bombing and the shower of affection. it was over the top but it felt so good. i hope if something like this happens again, I'll recognize it quicker. I hope to get more and more freedom from ALL my addictions.

I am in the stage of limerence where I am looking back at my former crazy self. I cannot believe there was a day in my life where this person was more important or more desirable than my SO. I wish I could've seen the truth sooner but it surely "takes what it takes" sometimes to get out of...
