Re: What do you expect from your LO?

In my fantasies, she and I would be so happy together. She would be everything I imagined her to be and we'd raise her daughter together and she would think I'm the greatest man ever and be so proud of me. We'd have our problems of course but we'd work them out. We would be the perfect fit for each...

"The last thing that I want you to do is to think that you need to become someone more 'conventional', emotionally-flat and unreactive, because this is a). impossible (suppression never equals healing) and b). entirely unnecessary. Serial limerents are normally quick-witted, verbally-expressive...

Re: Fired Therapist

Sounds like a story I've heard hundreds of times Kate. One of friendship & bluring of the lines. I can't suggest any particular therapist. You mentioned that you'd be afraid of being labeled, this maybe something worth looking at. What scares you about being labeled? Because of the amount of sto...

Re: Could both people have limerence?

When do I get to be happy if not now? Hey Hurting Heart. I understand your relationship with your husband is less than ideal, and yes, you deserve to be happy. Have you considered leaving your husband anyway? What will you do of the other man doesnt want to leave his wife or have an affair which I ...

Re: Could both people have limerence?

IMO two can be limerent but highly unlike unless the other person has told you they are limerent. Limerence is in the head so impossible to see. Think of it like depression, someone can show signs of depression but not necessarily be depressed. Only they could tell you if they were. Was thinking ab...
